Polish Ministry of Education Packaging Concept

Ministry of Education in Poland released a new law applied on Universities, Academic teachers and Professors, as well as on students. This project was very complex and contained a lot of changes in current education system in Poland. It was very important that everyone responsible for providing all these rules into life will get a clear and reliable manual that will be easy and quick to learn. New law was divided on to three sections, directed to three different end groups which resulted in creating three separate catalogs. Each one of them designed in a clear way, including numbers of infographics and pictures to help people memorising most important informations. Each group also get different colour set. Although Universities, Professors and students get a dedicated catalog designed, it was sure that all three groups should learn not only a new conditions applied directly to them but also aknowledge rules applied of other parties, as it all work as one mechanism at the end. This is when the idea of creating a box, and sending a info package to everyone in the area of interest was born. The design of the box was inspired by the logo of the Ministry. Creating it's shape was a real challenge to make an interesting cut and in the same time to create box from just one piece of paper without using a glue, to lower the production costs. In the result the package has unusual close, and after opening and getting catalogs out it reveals a logo of Ministry of Education in Poland. In this project I was responsible for design, layout, and prepress of the three folders as well as idea and design of the box and preparing the file into production process.
